Interprovincial Representation
Newbridge Hockey club has a number of players currently representing us at Interprovincial level. Sinead Kennedy, Pam Ryan and Gemma McGuire all playing with their home province of Connacht while a first for the club is having two members paying in the South East Caitriona Kavanagh (first team goalie) and Louise Sheil. Last season we also had a number of U14 West Leinster Interprovincial players – Miah Phelan, Louise Scully, Muireann Scully, Kate Scully, Sarah Colller and Elaine Dunne all represented Newbridge at this level. .

All-Ireland Hockey Competitions

The Club continues to be represented in all-Ireland competitions and this year the 1st team will compete for the Irish Hockey Challenge Trophy. Ruth Conlon is our Club Captain for the 2010/11 Season. Our Club Coaches are Owen O’Leary (Level 2), Ciaran Downey (Level 1) and Brian Percy (Level 1).
